WHAT IS THE PORTLAND ORCHID SOCIETY

The Portland Orchid Society (POS) was established in June 2007 by a group of local orchid enthusiasts with the common goal of creating an orchid society that is fun, friendly, community minded and welcoming to all. The Portland Orchid Society is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation established for the preservation and education concerning orchids by all means available. We hold one show each year at the Portland Home & Garden Show.

 

Mission Statement

The mission of the Portland Orchid Society is to promote all aspects of the culture, education and conservation of orchids, including with members and the general public. Toward that goal, it is the policy of the Portland Orchid Society Inc., that its members and board members uphold to the highest standards of ethical and professional behavior.
